Kellie O’Dempsey is an artist, curator and scholar. As an artist, she has produced drawing and digital
based artworks, performances and installations for over fifteen years in diverse locations – from regional
Australia, regional Italy, France, New York and London. Revealing the process of making Kellie works in

As a PHD Candidate at Queensland College of Art, Kellie is currently the recipient of Australian
Postgraduate Award Scholarship, digital and time-based outputs, include collaborations and public
performances include Dera/Delay st White Nights Melbourne (2015) and Draw to Perform@ N3mber
Performance Space (2015), London.
Kellie O’Dempsey’s work aims to expand the understanding of contemporary drawing and continues her
practice of engaging in increasingly diverse delivery platforms for interdisciplinary visual art production.
As Drawing Lecturer, co-convenor (DIB) and creative producer (GCCAR) at the University, she is wholly
engaged in the teaching and development of interdisciplinary drawing practice.
